The Association for Careers Education and Guidance (ACEG) is for all people involved in the management and delivery of careers education and guidance (CEG) and/or information, advice and guidance (IAG) for young people in the UK. Our key purpose is to promote excellence and innovation in careers education and IAG for all young people. Through our journals, newsletters, annual conference and website we keep members up to date with:

• ideas for learning and teaching
• the latest thinking in careers education and guidance and IAG
• examples of good practice
• research findings
• reviews of careers resources
• how to maintain links with other areas of the curriculum
• the statutory requirements for careers education and guidance
• occupational information

National subject lead for Economic Wellbeing and Financial Capability
The job spec for the EWFC National Subject Lead is on the CfBT website. ACEG would like to see strong candidates coming forward with experience of managing CEG (and the other aspects of EWFC) at a senior level and/or of supporting CEG developments in schools or colleges in an advisory role. As the area of expertise is so broad, potential candidates might wish to consider applying with a view to a possible job share.
